How are your flowers and plants shipped?

We ship all of our flowers via FedEx, Priority Overnight -- the fastest method to guarantee the fresh arrival of your order!
FedEx's service commitment varies by locale. If you have questions about estimated delivery time, please contact FedEx or visit them at their transit info website.

Unfortunately, we cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, nor to countries outside the US.

 

Can flowers be delivered on the same day as ordered?

Our products are not available for same day delivery.

 

May I have a delivery on Sunday or Monday?

We are unable to deliver on Sunday or Monday. You may, however, place your order online or call by 3:00 pm weekdays (Central Time) for next day delivery. Saturday delivery is available for an extra charge to any area where FedEx provided Saturday delivery services. For next day orders, if it is after 3 pm Central Time, you may certainly call us and we will do our best to help you in any way possible!

 

May I change the date of my order's delivery?

If your order has not yet shipped, we can change its intended delivery date; for large or special orders, we may charge a cancellation fee if the order is cancelled within 3 days of scheduled delivery. To request this type of change, please e-mail the new delivery date information to orders@TheOrchidGuys.com or phone 1-888-282-3499. For time sensitive adjustments to your order we encourage you to give us a call.

 

May I change the delivery address?

If you order has not yet been shipped, we can certainly change the delivery address. To request this change to your order, please e-mail the new address information to orders@TheOrchidGuys.com or phone 1-888-282-3499. For last minute changes we encourage you to call us.

 

What if the recipient is not home at the time of delivery?

The Orchid Guys has a shipper release policy with FedEx -- which means our flowers will be left at the front door of the delivery address.

Please send your orders to an address where someone will be present to receive the delivery. The Orchid Guys cannot be held responsible for items damaged left unattended.
We send you a FedEx tracking number when your order ships. If the item is sent as a gift, we encourage you to check with the recipient to be sure they receive their order.

It is up to FedEx's discretion whether they feel the delivery area is safe for the package to be left without a signature. If there is a concern about receipt of the package, we encourage you to call the recipient to let them know a package may be delivered.

 

What time will the flowers be delivered?

The arrangements we have made with FedEx is that they may deliver anytime up to 5:00 pm to a business address and 8:00 pm to a residential address.

 

Can the flowers be sent to a P.O. Box?

We are not able to make deliveries to a P.O. Box.

 

Can The Orchid Guys products be shipped abroad?

We regret that we cannot ship our products to Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, APO or FPO addresses, or any destination outside of the continental United States.

 

Do you deliver to hospitals?

Yes we can deliver to hospitals Tuesday through Saturday but in most instances we are delivering to the shipping and receiving department and not directly to your recipient. We encourage you to confirm delivery to the recipient once you have confirmed FedEx tracking has indicated the package has been delivered.

 

How can I be sure you have received my online order?

You will receive an order confirmation e-mail shortly after placing your order at The Orchid Guys.com. Please add "info", "orders" and "support" @theorchidguys.com to your e-mail address book or spam filter. If you do not receive this message within two hours of placing your order, please feel free to contact us at 1-888-282-3499.

 

Is it safe to make a purchase with my credit card online?

Your personal information, such as your credit card number, will never be sent over our network in a way that is readable to anyone but us. Your information is encrypted and then sent over the Internet using SSL (secure socket layer) technology.

 

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card is charged at the time your order is processed online. For best service, please include a daytime telephone number in case there are questions pertaining to your order. Delivery charges are non-refundable.

 

May I cancel an order?

If your order is not enroute, we can certainly cancel it at your request. Please contact our Customer Service department at 1-888-282-3499. Customer Service hours are 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday. If your order has already been shipped we will be unable to cancel it.

 

Do I pay sales tax on my order?

In compliance with state and federal tax laws, sales tax will be charged on all orders for delivery in Texas and Massachusetts.

 

Where do your flowers come from?

Our cut orchids are grown principally in Thailand. Our orchid plants are grown in various places, including but not limited to the Northeastern United States, Houston & California.

 

Will the plant be in bloom when it arrives?

To be sure your selection arrives safely, plants are shipped in bud or bloom.

 

Is the vase pictured included with my order?

As an option each of our products is offered with a designer vase, in the shape and height that best complements your selection. Product appearance may be subject to change. Some seasonal & special items do not have vase options and will be indicated clearly that a vase is not included.

 

Do the vase and flowers ship in the same box?

Our flowers are delivered in a custom-designed designer box. We ship the flowers and a vase together 99.9% of the time.

 

Are the flowers arranged or do I arrange them?

Our fresh cut flowers are provided with water vials on each stem to keep them well nourished on their trip to you.
The flowers are not arranged; we leave that enjoyment to you!

 

Do care instructions come with the plants or flowers?

Care instructions are included with each order.
