We believe it is reasonable to expect at least 7 days from date of arrival for peak freshness. After this time it is reasonable that there will be some fallen blossoms. Please note that lighter colors tend not to last nearly as long as dark colors.

Arrival

Please make every effort to ensure that someone is available to receive your delivery. We want to bring the joy of our Orchids to you and we only deliver via FedEx Priority Overnight.

To avoid delays, FedEx is instructed to delivery "no signature required". They are instructed to knock or ring the bell. The day your order ships (usually in the evening) we will send you notification of your tracking number via email. You can check the status of your delivery at fedex.com or call FedEx at 1-800-GO-FEDEX / 1-800-463-3339. If you anticipate delivery, we encourage you to check your doorstep around the time of delivery. If you receive notification of delivery but have any issues, please call or email us or FedEx to identify any issue. For more details about shipping, please refer to our shipping info page.

Quick Care Tips

Upon arrival of our cut Orchids, we recommend:

• Remove the water vials,
• Cutting each stem about one half inch up the stem at an angle with a very sharp knife.
• We do not recommend using shears or scissors as this tends to to crush or fray the stems.
• Although flower food may be provided our experience has shown the best tip for longevity is following the recommendations in the next paragraph... (Freshness)

Freshness

Our Orchids are best kept in a cool environment (below 72 degrees, preferably), out of direct sunlight, with some air circulation -- but away from direct air circulation such as A/C or heating ducts as this tends to provide hot/cold variation that Orchids would prefer not experience.

Under these conditions we guarantee your Orchids should last at least 7 days. In our experience, most of our customers tell us their cut orchids last between 2 and 3 weeks. During this time, some flower blossoms may fall off. This is normal. We recommend removing fallen blossoms to preserve the freshness of the rest of the bouquet.
